Congratulations to Ellora Sarkar on being selected as the ONLY Regional Finalist for the Siemens Competition from the State of Florida.

Here’s the link to the announcement.

Ellora is a Senior at Palmetto High School and the tile of her Project was “Develoment of Low Cost, Rapid Zinc-Finger Based Assay for the Multiplex Diagnostics of M. tuberculosis” and the work was partly funded by a Grand Challenges Explorations Grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
