Immediate Opening for a Post-doctoral Fellow – updated October 2022

We have an immediate opening for a post-doctoral researcher to join the Gupta Laboratory in the Department of Internal Medicine at Rush University Medical Center. The project is to further develop a new multiplex tissue imaging platform that we recently developed and published – called SeqStain. It allows exquisite spatial profiling of cells and tissues using immunofluorescence (IF) and imaging microscopy-based techniques.

We are looking for highly motivated and driven individuals with a Ph.D or M.D. in Life sciences with Cell Biology/Immunology background. A background and experience in working with confocal microscopes, immunofluorescence imaging of tissues, and imaging data analysis is highly desired.

Additionally, expertise in antibody engineering, and cell and molecular biology techniques are required. Experience with imaging analysis programs, such as HALO, is preferred.

Candidates must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, efficient and interact well with others as part of a team. Successful candidate must also have strong analytical, oral and written communication skills. Must have good organizational skills.
