Immediate Opening for Post-doctoral Fellows – updated October 2023

We have an immediate openings (multiple) for post-doctoral researchers to join the Gupta Laboratory. We are relocating soon to the Department of Medicine at UTMB, Galveston, Texas. The project is to further develop a new multiplex tissue imaging platform that we recently developed and published – called SeqStain. It allows exquisite spatial profiling of cells and tissues using immunofluorescence (IF) and imaging microscopy-based techniques.

We are looking for highly motivated and driven individuals with a Ph.D or M.D. in Life sciences with Cell Biology/Immunology background. A background and experience in working with confocal microscopes, immunofluorescence imaging of tissues, and imaging data analysis is highly desired. Additionally, experience with imaging analysis programs is preferred.

Candidates must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, efficient and interact well with others as part of a team. Successful candidate must also have strong analytical, oral and written communication skills. Must have good organizational skills.

Immediate Opening for Research Assistants – updated October 2023

We have an immediate openings (multiple) for Research Assistants to join the Gupta Laboratory for two projects:

  1. Development of novel therapeutics for Lupus Nephritis. We are targeting integrin CD11b with novel agents.
  2. The project is to further develop a new multiplex tissue imaging platform that we recently developed and published – called SeqStain. It allows exquisite spatial profiling of cells and tissues using immunofluorescence (IF) and imaging microscopy-based techniques.

We are looking for highly motivated and driven individuals with a B.S or M.S. in Life sciences with Cell Biology/Immunology background. A background and experience in working with confocal microscopes, immunofluorescence imaging of tissues, and imaging data analysis is highly desired.

Additionally, expertise in antibody assays, bioinformatics, and cell and molecular biology techniques are required. Experience with imaging analysis programs is preferred.

Candidates must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, efficient and interact well with others as part of a team. Successful candidate must also have strong analytical, oral and written communication skills. Must have good organizational skills.
